The Cherry Orchard has launched!

This linear visual novel is based on the play of the same name by Anton Chekhov. Our version's script has been edited and abridged for clarity, but if you enjoy this adaptation, we encourage you to check out the full script of the play at Project Gutenberg.

This project entered development in May of this year and was a labor of love by a group of people passionate about theater. Our goal was to put on a stage play despite being separated by disease and distance. Unusually for a video game, all voiceover was recorded in group sessions so that the actors could react to each other, and this authenticity to the moment elevates the performance to something truly special.

While not particularly well-known in general, The Cherry Orchard is highly regarded in the stage acting community and we hope that our production will show you exactly why it is considered one of the greatest plays of all time.
